Napa Valley Wine Train

Putting a new face to an old favorite.

The Napa Valley Wine Train is a classic and iconic destination in Napa Valley, California, renowned for its winery tours and historic allure. Although it boasts a rich cultural heritage and longstanding success, the need to refresh its brand to remain relevant and appealing was evident. The new brand strategy honored the legacy while infusing a modern touch.

A reimagined identity was developed, featuring a conceptual mark that seamlessly merged the silhouette of a wine bottle with the front of the train, transforming a simple graphical gesture into a meaningful symbol. The transition from a pseudo-vintage Tuscan color palette to a modern, cuisine-inspired black, white and copper palette introduced a timeless, sophisticated and contemporary edge.

This revitalized brand identity influenced every aspect of the Wine Train experience, from the visual appearance of the train to its brand development to its overall ethos. The updated vision revitalized the Wine Train, celebrating its storied past while attracting a new generation of experiential enthusiasts.
