Loveland Public Library Mural // Loveland, Colorado
The main mural was created for the Teen Department in the Loveland Public Library, as part of a major renovation of the library. The theme was centered around the city amenities of Loveland, highlighting characteristics of the land, points of interest and a celebration of lifestyle. The artwork was digitally output onto several glass panels that were floated away from the from the wall at various distances.

The Vision Behind The Art
The vision was to capture the spirit and story of Loveland, specifically speaking to the youth as the main mural was to live on the primary wall within the Teen department of the library. I set off to create a narrative landscape that would capture the pride, life and story that its inhabitants could resonate with, while embodying a youthful energy. Symbols, graphic elements, colors, patterns and typography were layered to bring life to the story.
The Process
The process grew from a collaboration between key stakeholders at the library and the architects at Oz Architecture. Knowing that the desire was to celebrate Loveland, I envisioned a visual story made up of key elements of the land, landmarks and lifestyle. I then set off to create the digital art at a scalable size for final output. The digital file was then output directly onto glass panels of different sizes and stood off the wall at varying distances.
About The Artist
Lee’s art is a reflection of how he sees the world and its pieces. He creates visual narratives made up of layers, design, symbols and movement. Like an architect, he designs each piece as a place where emotion, spirit and story come together — with the intent to bring joy to those who experience it.
